Dr. Lindsay Cathcart, General Dentist

Dr. Lindsay Cathcart is a native Rhode Islander. She moved to Boston to attend college, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a Concentration in Health Sciences from Emmanuel College, Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Cathcart earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, graduating Summa Cum Laude. While at BU, Dr. Cathcart served as the chair of the Pre-Dental Committee where she mentored college students on their path to dental school.

Dr. Cathcart was the recipient of the Brasseler USA Award for Clinical Fixed Prosthodontics and the Dr. Lloyd B. Chaisson Award for the art and science of operative dentistry and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society. Dr. Cathcart returned to Rhode Island after dental school, where she continued her dental training by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the Providence Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Cathcart is a member of the American Dental Association, the Rhode Island Dental Association, and the Providence Dental Study Club.

In her free time, Dr. Cathcart enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and reading the monthly selection for her book club. Dr. Cathcart appreciates a great cup of coffee or espresso and welcomes suggestions for new coffee shops to try.
