Dr. Walter Sepe has provided expert periodontal treatment to hundreds of patients in our family practice for nearly 20 years, and thereby enhanced our comprehensive approach to oral health care. He is a board-certified periodontist who performs up-to-date nonsurgical and surgical therapy, including regenerative gum and bone grafting procedures. His care enables our patients to attain the highest possible level of oral health.
A Rhode Island native, Dr. Sepe graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He completed his specialty residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and earned a Master of Science from George Washington University while serving in the Navy Dental Corps.
As the director of a postdoctoral fellowship program in periodontics, Dr. Sepe trained many military dentists as well as civilian dental hygienists. Additionally, he has conducted clinical research and published several articles in major professional journals, including the Journal of Periodontology and the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry.
Dr. Sepe is a member of all major dental societies, serves as a dental insurance consultant, and maintains a periodontal practice in Middletown, RI.
